Ninja Double Stack XL Air Fryer 9.5L 2-Drawer 6-Function | SL400 delivers large-capacity cooking in a narrower footprint by positioning its two cooking drawers vertically rather than side by side. Ninja states that this Double Stack design is approximately 30% slimmer than the AF400, making it particularly useful for kitchens where counter width is limited.

The air fryer offers a generous 9.5L total capacity, divided between two independent 4.75L non-stick drawers. Ninja rates the capacity for meals serving up to 8 people, and each drawer is large enough to accommodate approximately a 1.4kg roast chicken.

With Ninja's Double Stack Air Fry Technology and the two included Stacked Meal Racks, you can cook on four levels at the same time. This allows up to four different foods to be prepared simultaneously while hot air circulates around each level for even cooking and crisping.

Six selectable cooking functions provide flexibility for everyday meals: Air Fry, Max Crisp, Roast, Bake, Dehydrate, and Reheat. Each drawer can use its own cooking program, temperature, and cooking time, allowing different foods to be prepared together.

The SYNC function coordinates two different cooking programs so both drawers finish at the same time. The MATCH function copies the same cooking settings across both drawers, making it convenient when preparing a larger quantity of the same food.

The SL400 operates at 2470W and supports cooking temperatures from approximately 40°C to 240°C, depending on the selected function. Max Crisp operates at 240°C, while Dehydrate offers lower-temperature cooking from 40°C to 90°C.

Ninja states that the Double Stack XL can cook selected foods up to 55% faster than a fan oven, based on testing with fish fingers and sausages. Air frying can also use significantly less oil than traditional deep frying.

Cleaning is straightforward thanks to the removable non-stick drawers and crisper plates, which are dishwasher-safe. The package also includes two multi-layer racks for four-level cooking and an instruction/recipe guide depending on regional packaging.
