The SONOFF TH Origin is a Wi-Fi smart switch that goes far beyond simple on/off control, combining real-time environmental monitoring with powerful automation built around temperature and humidity. As the upgraded successor to the popular TH10 and TH16 models, it's built around a modern ESP32 chip and designed for anyone who needs precise climate control over appliances, growing environments, or sensitive equipment.

At its core, the TH Origin continuously monitors temperature and humidity in real time, sending instant push notifications to your phone whenever readings cross a preset threshold or whenever the device's on/off state changes. With a max load of up to 20A, it's powerful enough to control serious household and commercial appliances, including heaters, dehumidifiers, electric kettles, and even electric floor heating systems, making it suitable for far more than typical smart plug use cases.

Historical tracking is genuinely robust: the device stores up to six months of temperature and humidity data, viewable by hour, day, or month directly within the eWeLink app, and exportable as an Excel (.xlsx) file for deeper analysis. This makes the TH Origin especially valuable in environments where consistent record-keeping matters, such as greenhouses, server rooms, fermentation rooms, or reptile terrariums.

The switch supports three types of plug-and-play sensors through an upgraded, hot-swappable RJ9 connector: the THS01 for standard temperature and humidity monitoring, the WTS01 waterproof sensor for water temperature applications like aquariums or heated pools, and the MS01 soil moisture sensor for irrigation and plant care. Sensor extension cables allow the THS01 and WTS01 to be extended up to 60 metres, and the MS01 up to 10 metres, giving installers genuine flexibility in larger spaces.
