Bang & Olufsen Beolit 20 Portable Bluetooth Speaker combines premium Scandinavian design with powerful portable audio for music at home, social gatherings, and on the move. Crafted from anodized aluminum, durable plastic, and a genuine leather carrying strap, it delivers the distinctive design quality associated with Bang & Olufsen.
The acoustic system combines a 5.5-inch long-stroke wideband woofer, three 1.5-inch full-range drivers, and two 4-inch passive bass radiators. Two 35W Class D amplifiers drive the speaker system, while Bang & Olufsen rates the Beolit 20 for up to 240W of peak power.
Its 360-degree sound direction distributes audio around the speaker, helping deliver a consistent listening experience from different positions. With a frequency range of 37 Hz to 20 kHz, maximum loudness of 93 dB SPL at one meter, and bass capability of 77 dB SPL, the Beolit 20 is designed for rooms from approximately 10 to 50 m² as well as larger social gatherings.
The integrated Qi wireless charging surface on top of the speaker provides up to 5W of wireless charging for compatible smartphones, earbuds, and other Qi-enabled devices. This allows the Beolit 20 to function as both a portable speaker and a convenient wireless charging station.
A built-in 3,200mAh rechargeable battery provides up to approximately 8 hours of playback at typical listening volume. The speaker charges through USB Type-C, with a typical full charging time of around three hours when using a 15V / 3A power source.
Bluetooth 4.2 provides wireless connectivity with compatible smartphones, tablets, and computers, while AAC and SBC audio codecs are supported. A 3.5mm mini-jack input is also available for compatible wired audio sources.
For an expanded listening experience, Beolit 20 supports wireless stereo pairing, allowing compatible Beolit speakers to work together as a stereo setup. Bang & Olufsen specifies stereo pairing compatibility between Beolit 17 and Beolit 20 units.
The Bang & Olufsen app provides five sound presets and fully customizable EQ controls, allowing users to personalize the audio according to their music and listening environment.
