The Apple M5 chip combines a 10-core CPU with four super cores and six efficiency cores, an 8-core GPU with Neural Accelerators, hardware-accelerated ray tracing and a 16-core Neural Engine. Its 153GB/s memory bandwidth, 16GB unified memory and 512GB SSD support responsive multitasking, productivity, creative applications and on-device AI workloads.
The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display offers a 2560 × 1664 resolution, 500-nit brightness, P3 wide colour, True Tone and support for one billion colours. The 12MP Center Stage camera, three-microphone array and four-speaker sound system provide clear video calls and immersive entertainment.
Connectivity includes MagSafe 3, two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread networking. The MacBook Air can drive up to two external displays while keeping its built-in display active.
Its 53.8Wh battery provides up to 18 hours of video streaming or up to 15 hours of wireless web use. Fast charging is supported with a compatible 70W or higher USB Power Delivery adapter. A 2m USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable is included, while the power adapter is sold separately.
